Beernarium Piwne Spa Kraków

This place is special. Everyone knows about the beer cult in Europe and as for me, this is a must have for every Krakow visitor. I've been here with my husband. Cozy, clean place, beautiful romantic atmosphere. Also, they give you a pint of beer so you are bathing in beer and drinking beer. This is a great way of getting to know Poland. Love it!

This is definitely a must if visiting Krakow. It was an amazing experience. 15 min infrared sauna, followed by an hour in the beer bath and then a massage. We booked the special day package and really enjoyed it. Unlimited beer/wine/non alcoholic beer and water provided. It’s underground and the atmosphere is really calming. The room is private for your beer bath and there’s also a straw bed in the room. Will defo be doing this again. Thanks to Piotr and Irena for making us feel so welcome and giving us fantastic massages

Cool concept but not a great execution. We just had a beer massage and sauna, so can’t speak on the baths. The sauna wasn’t that hot (60 degrees) and wasn’t that impressive. I have the same sauna at home… you would think a spa would have a nicer sauna. Only big enough for 2 people to sit. However, that was honestly still fine with me and wouldn’t have affected my review had everything else went well. My mom and I booked a double massage (in the same room). My masseuse briefly introduced herself but never asked about my preferences or anything. She did ask about the pressure one time which I appreciated. The other masseuse didn’t say a word at all, didn’t even know he was in the room and my mom only knew that her masseuse was even a man based on how his hands felt. Never asked about comfort or anything. The beer massage includes a scrub that they rub all over your body. The massage was more like someone just rubbing scrub on you, versus actually massaging you (both of us had the same opinion). All of this wasn’t ideal but still, would have been fine with me. The real issue is the lack of privacy. Usually when you get a massage, you’re covered mostly except the part being massaged is exposed. During this massage, you’re completely exposed the entire time. They rub the scrub on you and don’t wipe it off or anything so it’s pretty cold laying there with only a bikini top and underwear on. Also kind of embarrassing to be so exposed in front of both employees. Where’s the care for peoples comfort? Maybe this is a cultural thing since we are from America? After “massaging” the scrub on the back of your legs and back and shoulders, we were instructed to flip over and they did the same thing on the front. Then they just said “ok thank you bye” and left the room. No instructions on what to do next or anything. So we are now just laying there, cold and sticky from all the scrub all over us. This is not like a lotion that’s supposed to be left on. I felt so cold and sticky that I didn’t even want to move. I had the scrub in my hair too. So we uncomfortably walk to the showers feeling gross and sticky and there’s only one shower so one of us has to wait in a small locker room while the other showers. There was relaxing music playing during the massage but the room isn’t a full wall, the top is open and right by the entrance so you can clearly hear all the conversations and phone calls by the front. So overall, we did not leave feeling relaxed. I’m honestly not even a super picky person about this sort of stuff but I feel like a spa should at the very least make you feel welcome and comfortable…

Great activity for a couple or group of friends who love beer. For a couple, you have a package with massages, and you can share a bath. The bath smells very nice (not beerlike at all). It's very nice, hot and relaxing. For a group of friends, a package with unlimited beer would be great as there is a beertap right next to the tubs and there is more than enough space to sit around and enjoy the unlimited beer supply that is included in some options. We will visit again if we are ever in Krakow. The dungeon atmosphere is really fitting to the activity.
